I had the pleasure and had the best time to work with Donna, Kaye Goldman and Deborah Glusker in coordinating the 30th reunion.  We searched all over for the the tie dyed table clothes and went to Olvera Street to find the colorful paper flowers which Donna arranged for the center pieces.  We had many dinners in planning and laughed a lot.  Donna, you were a joy and I'll miss you.  Rest In Peace.

I am so sad and sorry to hear this news.  Donna befriended me at a difficult time during "middle school" and I will be forever grateful for her presence and kindness at a time when I felt quite isolated.  We had the opportunity to reconnect after our 40th reunion and I learned a little about her artistic pursuits and the ups and downs she experienced in life.  She was a gentle soul.  If any of you could suggest an organization that would be an appropriate recipient for a donation in her memory, I'd be grateful to know.  Thank you.  RIP Donna.

In Memoriam: Donna Silverman

We stayed in touch through FaceBook. We had a lovely conversation at the 50th and exchanged cards.  She was a good and loyal friend to those I knew at Beverly.

May her memory be for a Blessing...

Donna was a talented artist, had a lot of life experience to draw on and not take too seriously, and an absolute kick in the pants funny, witty girl. I will miss her.

Donna and I met in P.E. Class as sophomores, as we both slowed to a walking pace from the requisite track jaunt...&  became instant cohorts that spring day!  We shared art classes with Suter and Allemand, our love of dancing & bands and weekly Saturday crawls to Beverly Drive!  We remained  close friends after Beverly and beyond.  We spent a lot of time together as young marrieds...and loved doing parties & food &  the world of  art & design!  We designed her jewelry store Pave in Santa Monica with enthusiastic team effort!  Donna & I did the decorations for the 20th reunion at Sony with delight... and laughed ourselves crazy when we beheld the fizzling non-helium required balloons when we arrived at the event  after setting up for hours that morning!  We laughed and shared a lot over many many years of friendship... through its highs and lows!  She will be profoundly missed! May she rest b'shalom!

Debbie
